WHAT'S THAT SITE ?

UFODATANET is the website owned by the projects coordination of the Italian Centre for Ufo Studies. CISU is an association that promotes ony scientific approaces to UFO phenomena".

For that purpose many of its subscribers coordinate or cooperate with at least one or more projects for rational analysis of various aspects of this complex and contradictory phenomenon. The projects cover both some cuts of study related to the physical sciences along with methods of work of the human sciences.

WHAT I CAN FIND IN THIS SITE ?

UFODATANET owns general information, work tools and information on CISU's projects, the news on most recent results achieved in these projects, information on how to cooperate in a practical and fruitful manner, and more.

The site is divided into several sections:

“workgroups” section contains simple but precise information on individual research projects, their objects of study, methods and techniques used on some of the results and contact details of people who coordinate them.
The main purpose of this section is to facilitate the cooperation of everyone and to support a coordinated effort between individual scholars.

“Reports” section contains real research work on specific topics relevant to research projects, but can host examples of reports about surveys on observations of alleged UFO phenomena. In all cases, the identity of witnesses are considered absolutely confidential and kept under the current regulations.

“Short Communications” section is instead open to short input also unstructured or a simple search tips.

“Resources” section contains mainly bibliographic access to real resources useful to the researcher, often coming from the general scientific literature

“Links” section contains addresses of sites of ufologist associations, individual researchers or scholars in any rational way interested in one or more aspects of the ufo phenomena.

RESEARCH PROJECT OF ITALIA CENTRE FOR UFO STUDIES Inside CISU there are now active many different projects, or at least the relevant objects of study there is a documentary and casuistic matter, which allows interested parties to know the state of the matter. Projects are gathered into five thematic groups:

The central archives of CISU, located in Turin, in ufologist are among the largest in the world. They are able to provide project coordinators material, reports of investigation and sources updated from around the world, so as to open the search to several different international developments.
